I just wanted to model one of those old Cannons.
I started modelling in Maya, quickly create some surface detail in ZBrush, backed and assembled some textures in Substance Painter und throw everything in Marmoset to get some final renders. The goal of this small project was to optimize my skills and workflow from modeling, sculpting, texturing to rendering. On top of that, this project finally got me to master Marmoset. I think learning and mastering Marmoset has took me the most time of this whole project. Although I am very happy with the outcome...there is still much to learn.
